Imma start a petition to bring Zaxby’s up north. Who’s with me?
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:36 |

YES. I MISS ZAXBYS!
PLS GIB.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:39 |

No offense to Chick-fil-a or KFC but Zaxby’s is just better.
Bojangles is a close second.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:40 |

I’m with you 100%. I miss Zaxby’s and Bojangles ever since I moved back north.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:43 |

no, if you want zaxbys, you come here.

I was in NC over the spring and my friend who goes to school there insisted she take me to those places so I could experience them. I don’t regret it.
I miss sweet tea too. I thought I knew what good sweet tea was but then I went down south and things just haven’t been the same since.

We will gladly trade you Zaxbys for Wawa.
-NC
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:49 |

I’m with you if we can also start a petition to bring In ‘N Out to MO. I really miss that place...
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:50 |
|
You already have Sheetz, which is better. Except for the coffee.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:51 |
|
A pox on you and your house. May you never be blessed with a D’Angelo or a Marylou’s.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:54 |

Wawa has stayed out of New England for the most part. I’ve never been to one.
Y’all need some Dunkin in your life.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:55 |
|
We have Roosters and Raising Cains, so we’re good up here.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:55 |

I lived in Greenville NC for almost 5 years. I miss the tea, the biscuits, the BBQ, and the Cheerwine.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:58 |
|
Amen.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:58 |
|
The fuck are those places?
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:59 |
|
Nah, Sheets is gross.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 16:59 |
|
Krispy Creme is overrated. The donuts are only good when they’re fresh.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:00 |
|
lol Cheerwine. That’s another thing she made me try.
There’s good pit BBQ here, the places are just fewer and farther between.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:02 |
|
I’ve never heard of the place. Is it that good? They are here in MO, but not anywhere close to me and I live in a major city. Would it be worth driving half way across the state to try it?
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:03 |
|
Kryspe Kreme is just ok. America runs on Dunkin though.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:04 |
|
I have never heard of either of those.
Excluding Maryland, I’ve probably only left the south 10-15 times.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:05 |
|
It’s not THAT worth it, it’s just fast food chicken after all. It sure as hell beats KFC and Chick-fil-A though. If you ever happen to find yourself near one I’d stop for it.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:08 |

D’Angelos is a New England sandwich chain known for their subs and pita pockets. Think Subway but less shitty.
Marylou’s is simply the best coffee you’ll ever have. It’s a smaller chain, around the Boston/ South Shore area.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:09 |
|
Roosters is a local chain very similar to Zaxbys except for the bread. And Raising Canes is a fast food place that has better sauce and bread sooo
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:10 |
|
OK, I’ll pop in when I decide to pop over to KC for a few days. It should be right along my route.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:10 |

Their coffee sucks, but the food is better.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:17 |

Dunkin started in Boston so they’re all over the damn place up here. It’s not uncommon in larger cities to find three within a five minute drive of each other.
I saw a few when I was in NC but not many.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:24 |

I lived in Eastern NC, and they have their own way of doing bbq. Whole hog, vinegar based sauce, served with slaw. None of that brown sauce. It’s an acquired taste, but damn is it good.
Hopefully you got to a Cookout to try a Cheerwine float.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:25 |

And in n out moves east.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:26 |

I tried their hush puppies and a burger and a milkshake.
Where in east NC?

I’ve never had Zaxby’s, but a Raising Cane’s is about to open here on Monday and I’m friggin’ stoked.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:35 |

Closest one to me looks to be up in Boston. Doubt I’ll ever get to try it.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:39 |

We went there when we were in Vegas last year. They’re really really good. There’s one way up in Fort Collins, but I’m hardly ever up that way.
Now if we could just get White Castle.

I’ve never been to a Sonic either.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:43 |

D’Angelo is garbage, Quiznos/Jersey Mikes/Jimmy Johns are much better
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:44 |
|
They are in Dallas already. I think Houston and Austin maybe already open as well. You might see one in Florida soon.....
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:44 |

Never once been to any of those places
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:52 |

Greenville, home of Eastern Carolina University.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 17:54 |

Really? I’m excited.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 18:07 |

When I was there we stayed in Southport, and hit up Wilmington, Charlotte, and Asheville.
![]() 06/24/2017 at 18:16 |
|
I meant East Carolina University in my previous comment.
Wilmington is one of my favorite places. And as for Asheville, if I had moved there instead of Greenville I probably never would have left.

Honestly, Sonic is not that good. The only thing I really like on their menu is the SuperSonic breakfast burrito.
